Was Krishna's birthday on Tuesday and we met up after work to go to the temple. I like going to the temple. Feel so...light. And peaceful, even with the Naathaswaram and Mathallam playing in the background. Was telling Krishna that I could possibly live in a temple and not do anything the whole day.
But I digress. After much deliberation, we decided to have dinner in Marche at Suntec city. We pigged out big time. LOL. By the time we left, all we wanted to do was roll ourselves to the taxi stand and grab a taxi back home. But me mum had other plans and ordered me to make my way to our family friends' place for a surprise cake and wine session. Was fun in the end, as we all sat in the verandah and sang songs for a long time. I was quite surprised Krishna sang, usually have to beg him for ages before he even so much as shows some sign of relenting.
Today it's Shanthi's birthday and we're going to surprise her at her place. Muru's going to whisk her of for dinner and bring her back home. Can't wait to see her face!
