the calling
so here's what i think most oldies think i'm doing when i say i work in a lab.
well at least here's what my mum thought.
*grins*
glamourous, eh?

well, i should be happy i don't look like this:)
although i think there's nothing wrong wearing a saree to school.
*double grins*

but hoepfully, someday i'll look like this:)

well, it has been a long time dream of mine to wear a scrub and work in a hospital.
we'll see whether that comes true.

am in two minds whether to do my masters in speech pathology or psychology.

Speech path was something that i wanted to do before coming to NUS but that ambition sorta simmered, especially when i did not go on the internship that my prof had planned for me to do in DEC 2004. Then along came cognitive neuroscience which gave me a totally different perspective on psychology and here i am right now. would not have thought much about speech therapy til i got the announcement that they offer it in NUS. it is a tough course to get in, only 20 places are available and since they are all on scholarship, its really a difficult weaning process. plus it would be too expensive to self-finance it anyway. its $24,000 per annum. argh.

guess i have about a year at least to decide..they only take in applications for Msc.(SLP) every two years, meaning next round of applications are in 2008, but for M Soc.Sc (Psych) its in a year that they make the application.

Hopefully what i do right now will lead me in the right direction.

on another note,

congrats to sara on his new job!!
so now we'll all be listening to Oli more often.
(and this means you have to play all our songs too, bro. hee hee.)

and shalini on the new job
albeit late,yes. ahaha.

now that everyone's so busy with work, its so hard to find a time when all of us can make it. so many appointments, errands to run.
i'm not taking too well to this.
*sticks tongue out*

til the next time. i'm done wingeing:)
