Anything that I've said about precious Sunday being a rest day for me has henceforth changed.
Last Sunday, Krishna, Mura and myself decided to wash the car. D-I-Y. Not the kind when you drive thru' the petrol station and sit prettily in the car, watching the "snow" engulf you. You stay clean and dry while the 3 men outside engage in a flurry of activity, quick-clean-the-car-there-are-5-more-behind game, and before you know it, your car is clean. And then, you spend the next 5 minutes nitpicking about all the tiny faults which you could live with before. Oh, see here, there's a handprint on the window. Aiyah, never clean the wiper, see now, the windscreen will have marks.
A visit to Autobacs on Saturday, and we return with car wash gels, car wax, a gazillion different types of cloths which promise to make the car surface shiny, new car mats and air freshners. ( And a hole in the pocket. )
So Sunday morning, we park at this huge car park and wash the car. We took one hour (!!!, it takes the car wash people 10 minutes) to just wash and wipe the exterior. Muralee leaves for tennis practice, and Krishna and I are left to clean the interior, which we proceed to take one hour to complete.
Here are some pictures from that day. All ideas that any of you have of gorgeous women washing cars ( think Jessica Simpson in some video, I can't remember which ) needs to be dispelled at this point. Note: I don't always look this good. :)

Mu carrying pails of water from nearby taps

Krish and Mu analysing all the tools we need

Busy bees

Me wiping the front dry with the super chamois cloth that we just had to buy. *rolls eyes*

I polished this like crazy. So had to remember it:)
