I don't know if its just the Indian community here, or just any Indian community, or its just coz' its here, or it just happens in any other community, just that I'm unaware of it.

I wonder why people make it their utmost priority to go around spreading bits of goss around. Perhaps a long lost desire to be a trashy newspaper journalist.

This has been playing in my head for so long, and I’ve probably tried a gazillion ways that this issue should be solved, once and for all, that right now I’m just so tired. Physically and mentally.

Passing judgment about someone is just so easy, especially when you don’t know a person at all. I wonder if people ever sat down to think what a dangerous thing it is.

What’s worse is that one who actually stands to lose more in all this, goes on to ask others to pass this “message” to all the women out there. Now, really, you should be the last person to talk about morality.

It feels like we've got the new generation of aunties who gossip in the market, on the bus, on the phone...a technologically savy bunch nonetheless.

But at the end of the day, I’m still going to be able to stand with my head held up high, and not stoop down to the same level to perpetuate information, merely because I know that I’m worth more than that.

After all, only bored minds gossip.
